Your Key Responsibilities Develop, support, and lead hardware architecture initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.Gain deep insights into customer use cases, workload performance, and the latest research in ML systems.Create and refine architecture specifications and requirements.Estimate hardware area, timing, and power consumption to guide architectural decisions.Collaborate effectively with Research, Software, and Hardware teams.Engage with vendors and customers to enhance project success.Architectural Focus Areas May Include:Parallel Compute: Expertise in SIMD, Vector, VLIW, and other parallel execution models.Data Movement: Design optimal storage solutions and communication pathways across memory and network fabrics.Distributed Systems: Conduct workload mapping, identify bottlenecks, and enhance scalability in distributed systems. Proven expertise in high-performance CPU, GPU, or AI accelerator architecture, with a strong understanding of hardware/software interactions.Skilled in analyzing and optimizing system performance using a variety of tools and methodologies.Proficient in programming and code optimization techniques.Excellent written communication skills.This hybrid role requires being present in our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday).
