A Snowflake Architect designs scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on the Snowflake platform. Design and implement data architecture on SnowflakeBuild and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and pipelinesDevelop ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Apache Airflow or InformaticaEnsure data security, governance, and complianceOptimize query performance and cost managementIntegrate Snowflake with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformGuide teams on best practices and architectural standardsTroubleshoot data issues and improve system reliability )Proficiency in SQL and data modelingExperience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline designUnderstanding of data security & governanceFamiliarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell)Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field8–10+ years in data engineering/architecture rolesSnowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro) are a plus
