Software Systems Architect

NOTE: This is not a remote/telework job. This job requires the selected applicant to have an active U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire and, therefore, requires U.S. citizenship. Kegman is seeking a skilled Software Systems Architect to serve as the principal technical advisor to the government program manager. Proven experience as a technical advisor and leader on large-scale modernization projectsDemonstrated experience in designing, migrating, and managing enterprise-grade cloud platforms (AWS or similar) through the software development life cycleDemonstrated experience with modernizing legacy applications, including re-platforming/re-architectingStrong grasp of programming languages for modern systemsHands-on experience in network administration or IT systemsDeep understanding of cloud architecture, including security, scalability, and complianceExcellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively lead cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with technical reviews, audits and methods to detect vulnerabilities In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment that requires a security clearance will be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
