This Security Architect must possess deep technology experiences in Security to build out the architecture vision, strategy and capability roadmap for his or her area of expertise. Creates and/or evolves the Security architecture function/program Identifies and analyzes the Security business drivers to develop Security architecture requirements Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon security Develops the Security architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies Implements Security architecture and ongoing refinement activities Develops and executes a communication plan (including education) for Security architecture standards Acts as a sounding board for IT and business leaders in the development of solutions for Security needs Builds and manages relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to effectively socialize and manage the Enterprise Security Architecture Partners with Operations teams on long-term solutions including Incident and Problem Management. Bachelor's degree in a technical (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline) or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology and/or experience in Security capabilities Competency in Security practices across Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture Experience developing future state architectures and a practical roadmap to get there Leadership in the space of information/data management, master data management data warehousing and business intelligence Working knowledge of NIST, CIP, NERC, FERC and other energy industry security stands and best practices Security certifications strongly preferred Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills Ability to self-prioritize work effectively Open to extensive travel on short notice At Revel IT, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role, but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
