Solution Architect (5908)

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This is a Hybrid, Contract To Hire position.

SALARY: $75-$85hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

10+ years of enterprise/application architecture experience
Deep expertise in Java, Spring, microservices architecture, API design, and system integration
Cloud-native architecture experience, preferably with AWS
Experience designing platforms with containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Strong communication skills
Proven ability to design solutions with downstream impacts across multiple applications and systems
Experience operating within large enterprise environments, with a focus on modernization and integration

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with application teams to design scalable, secure solutions to business problems
Conduct architecture reviews and guide teams through approval processes
Ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards and capabilities
Act as a liaison between development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
Review and validate modernization initiatives, including transitioning from WebSphere to OpenShift
Provide technical insights to support decision-making and design validation
Lead design reviews, develop architecture patterns, and ensure solution performance, security, and maintainability
Mentor junior team members on architectural best practices
