Job Description:
Solutions Architect responsible for designing scalable, secure, cloud-native applications supporting high-traffic digital platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Own architecture and design for cloud data applicationsSupport a homegrown CMS and cloud-native microservices ecosystemPartner with product and development teams on investigation spikesDefine infrastructure needs for new product initiativesCommunicate architectural direction to technical leadsEnsure scalability, security, resiliency, uptime, and maintainabilityProvide data-backed reasoning for architectural decisionsGuide microservices and micro-frontend architecture patternsRequirements:

Must-Haves:5 years of progressive software engineering experienceAt least a few years in a true architect roleStrong Azure and AWS cloud experienceMulticloud environment experienceStrong microservices architecture experienceMicro-frontend architecture experienceStrong understanding of network protocolsExperience with network-edge caching strategiesExperience maintaining high availability across the network layerStrong optimization, scalability, security, and resiliency principlesAbility to adapt quickly and communicate across product and engineering teamsNice-to-Haves:AWS streaming experienceAzure cloud engineer certificationCloud or networking certificationsBachelor's degreeMedia, streaming, or SaaS platform experience
