Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect is responsible for the creation, maintenance and\nmanagement of IT architecture models. The primary role of the Solutions Architect is to\nensure that the respective business, application, data and technology\nperspectives are in line with the company’s technology and governance\nstrategies, policies and standards.\n\nMidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and\nnatural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa,\nNebraska and South Dakota. Responsibilities creation, maintenance and management of IT architecture modelsinterpret, use and apply information contained within the IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT support systemsensure that the overall IT architecture is developed and maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and qualityensure that the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the company’s technology and governance strategies, policies and standards
