Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise technology solutions. This role serves as a key technical leader responsible for defining solution architecture across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, and guiding projects from concept through implementation. This is a hybrid position based in Dutchess County, NY.

Solutions Architect's Responsibilities and Duties

Design end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise standards, and long-term strategic goals. Present architectural designs, recommendations, and technical roadmaps to Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and senior stakeholders. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle to ensure initiatives remain aligned with approved architecture and standards. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and data teams to develop scalable and integrated solutions. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural gaps and provide recommendations for mitigation. Solutions Architect's Qualifications and Skills
At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or a related technical leadership role. Demonstrated experience designing solutions across multiple technology domains, including applications, infrastructure, data, and security. Experience presenting and defending architecture decisions before an Architecture Review Board (ARB) or similar governance body. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns, cloud technologies, and security frameworks.
