Solutions Architect

RayTek is seeking a Senior-Level Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative solutions that address complex business requirements and lead multiple high-priority, high-complexity projects. This position will be full-time and will be a combination of onsite and offsite in Oak Ridge, TN. Travel will be on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities Facilitate workshops with system engineers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to identify key system metrics, pain points, data sources, and desired dashboard business outcomes.Design the end-to-end data flow architecture — from source system metrics, through the ETL pipeline, to the data warehouse, and into the visualization layer (Power BI/Tableau and enterprise tools such as Dynatrace).Perform hands-on scripting, database engineering, and SQL optimization to clean, aggregate, and structure system metrics into performance-optimized schemas.Build, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards that track system health, operational performance, and enterprise-aligned metrics.Implement data access controls, authentication standards, and row-level security (RLS) profiles to ensure metrics are visible only to authorized personnel.Lead evaluation, trade-off analysis, and recommendation of optimal BI tools (e.g., Power BI vs. Tableau vs. Dynatrace) for the organization's environment.Deliver a Business Requirements & Metrics Mapping Document, system integration/data flow architecture blueprint, documented ELT scripts and repository, dashboard mockups/wireframes, production-ready dashboards, and system hand-off documentation/training materials.
