Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for a motivated Solutions Architect to enhance our rapidly growing State and Local Government division as part of our Worldwide Public Sector practice. This role provides you with the opportunity to shape and deliver strategies that promote the broad adoption of Amazon's utility computing services (such as AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and AWS CloudFront) among customers and our ecosystem of partners.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead technical engagements, ensuring successful implementation projects.Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and application construction.Act as a subject matter expert on security aspects related to customer applications and services.Work collaboratively with a world-class sales and business development team.Share best-practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community.What We Are Looking For:

A passion for designing and creating cloud computing architectures.Strong technical presentation skills for both small and large groups.Experience in web services development, cloud computing, and operational management.Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.Key Job Responsibilities Include:

Collaborating with the Sales team to develop and execute strategies aimed at exceeding revenue objectives through AWS adoption.Ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.Educating customers about the value of AWS and facilitating deep architectural discussions for optimal cloud deployment.Conducting training sessions to enhance customer knowledge for those considering or using AWS.Capturing and sharing best practices in the AWS Solutions Architect community.Contributing to customer-facing publications, like white papers, to share insights and knowledge.Acting as a technical liaison among customers, Service Teams, and Support.About Us:
