Position Summary: Aleut Federal is seeking a senior, market-facing technical leader specializing in cloud architecture and modernization across AWS and Azure within U.S. federal environments. Lead technical solutioning for cloud-based federal opportunities, including application modernization, migration strategies, platform engineering, and shared services.Directly influence and help drive technical wins by defining cloud architecture discriminators, leading customer-facing architecture sessions, workshops, and whiteboarding engagements, and translating cloud capabilities into mission, performance, and cost outcomes.Partner with Business Development and Capture to shape opportunities pre-RFP and present and defend cloud architectures to technical and executive stakeholders.AI-Enabled Engineering (Required) Strongly preferred for Senior Principal: delivery of AI-enabled cloud architectures in production with measurable outcomes.Ensure AI implementations align with federal requirements for security, compliance, transparency, and auditability.Capture, Proposal & Pricing S. Citizenship (U.S. Citizens only).7+ years of U.S. federal experience with a Bachelor’s degree.Deep, hands-on expertise in one cloud platform (AWS or Azure required), with demonstrated ability to architect across both environments.Experience designing secure cloud architectures and supporting technical solutioning, capture, and proposal development.Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust.Preferred Qualifications
