Develop, edit, and coordinate project specifications for a wide range of project types, scales, and delivery methods Collaborate closely with project architects, designers, and technical staff to align specifications with design intent, drawing content, code requirements, and owner expectations Advise teams on material selections, product applications, and building systems to support constructability, quality, and project goals Tailor specifications to project scope, procurement approach, and delivery method while maintaining consistency across contract documents Maintain and improve in-house master specifications, product information, and technical standards to support firmwide quality and efficiency Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality specification documentation on schedule Work directly with the Specifications Leader and Team to continuously improve processes in the department as a firmwide resource. Bachelor's degree or associate degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior design, or a related design or construction field is preferred 5–7 years of experience preparing, coordinating, and managing architectural specifications for construction documents Demonstrated knowledge of building products, material assemblies, and construction documentation standards Professional experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment is strongly preferred Certification in CSI's CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) is ideally preferred.
