Sr. Architect

KZF Design is a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and planning firm proudly recognized as one of Cincinnati’s Top Workplaces since 2021. We are seeking a creative senior-level Architect to join our architecture team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is suited for someone with 10-15 years of experience who is interested in contributing to working on a diverse array of projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary A/E environment. Working alongside other architects, planners, engineers, and landscape architects, this position is actively involved in both planning efforts and site-specific designs, as well as the management and production of Contract Documents and technical documents for construction. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited US collegeProfessional Registration as an Architect in the United StatesMinimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Architecture working in an Engineering or Architecture/Engineering design consulting firm with an emphasis on providing Architectural design services for buildingsStrong graphic and layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong architectural design and concept layout skills using Rhinoceros and RevitStrong rendering skills using software such as D5, Enscape, or TwinmotionProficiency in developing construction drawings using Autodesk RevitProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficiency in editing or writing three-part CSI MasterFormat technical specificationsProficiency in Bluebeam RevuStrong written communication skills, including report writing and document preparationOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignmentsAbility to think critically and contribute to problem-solving effortsAbility to work both independently and in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team
