Lead the planning and architectural design of projects, demonstrating advanced design expertise and the ability to manage technically complex and schedule-driven workReview and refine work produced by project team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards, prototype requirements, and project objectivesPrepare and oversee the development of detailed construction documents with a strong focus on constructability, coordination, and efficient deliveryApply expert knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility requirements, and local jurisdictional standards to resolve design challenges and ensure complianceCollaborate closely with internal disciplines, consultants, developers, and contractors to promote effective communication and coordination throughout all phases of project deliveryConduct final Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, client requirements, and schedule expectations prior to releaseSupport project managers and leadership in proposal development, scope definition, budgeting, and labor-hour estimating, providing technical insight aligned with commercial project delivery modelsPartner directly with clients, retailers, and developers to define, communicate, and refine project scope, translating brand vision and operational needs into successful design solutionsMentor and guide architectural staff, fostering professional growth, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the teamEducation and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture (6-year program) from a NAAB-accredited institution is required.Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) years of job-related experience. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
