Key Responsibilities The Data Architect will be responsible for enterprise-level database architecture, integration, governance, and optimization initiatives across the company's systems and applications.
Core Duties Include:
Design and maintain enterprise data architecture solutions and frameworks.
Develop logical and physical data models for enterprise applications and systems.
Architect, optimize, and support SQL Server and Oracle database environments. Support data integration, ETL, migration, and warehousing initiatives.
Define and enforce enterprise data governance standards and best practices.
Ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and high availability across systems. Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders on system integration initiatives.
Support cloud-based data initiatives and Azure data platform implementations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and reporting artifacts. Participate in architecture reviews, project meetings, and technical planning sessions.
Provide production support and serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise data initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IT standards, security requirements, and State policies.
Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in: Data Architecture Database Design Enterprise Data Management Strong experience with: Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Database Data Modeling ETL / Data Integration Data Warehousing Database Performance Tuning Data Governance Data Security & Compliance
