Salary$90,000 - $140,000 per year Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design: Lead the design of data center projects, creating detailed architectural plans that meet client specifications and industry standards.Provide technical expertise and recommendations on data center infrastructure, encompassing power systems, cooling solutions, network architecture, and security practices.Documentation: Oversee the comprehensive project documentation process, from drawings and specifications to contracts, and manage construction administration to uphold quality and alignment with design intent.Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and IT teams to integrate architectural designs with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.Project Management: Support project managers in overseeing the design phase, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any design-related issues.Required Knowledge And SkillsArchitectural Expertise: Strong background in architectural design, with experience in the AEC industry and a deep understanding of data center requirements.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.Coordination Skills: Ability to work closely with engineering and construction teams.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in creating and reviewing design documents.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Recommended Experience and EducationEducation: A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.Industry Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on data center projects.Professional Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.Project Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complicated, mission-critical data center projects.Equal Opportunity EmployerJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
