Staff Architect

As part of our efforts to provide exceptional service, LRS Federal is seeking to hire an Staff Architect to assist our federal government client in managing the quality program of multiple construction and design projects (MEP related) taking place in either Tuskegee OR Montgomery , AL. Key Responsibilities Leadership, Supervision & Oversight Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field 5-10+ years of experience in engineering or architecture design, construction management, environmental science, project management, or other related field 5+ years of leadership experience on Federal Government engineering or architecture projects with US Department of Defense, GSA, VA, USDA, DHS, DOI or other federal agencies Excellent strategic, analytical, client management, and problem-solving skills Technical Expertise Minimum 5 years leading and supervising technical staff in design, construction management, or assessment on projects over $10M in construction value Extensive federal contracting experience, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG), Construction Quality Management (CQM), etc. Citizenship is required for this position
