**Overview:**
HKS is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Structural team.

**Responsibilities:**
With close supervision, summer interns will work with professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and drafters on current projects
Structural Assignments may include:
* Analysis and design of building structure components such as foundations, columns, beams and floor framing systems, lateral force resisting systems, etc. Will require learning several structural analysis software.
* Use of Revit to coordinate with architecture and other disciplines and to produce construction documents
* Construction administration tasks such as reviewing RFIs and submittals
* Potential for construction site visits in the vicinity of the internship
**Qualifications:**
* Currently a college student working to obtain a professional degree from an accredited Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
* Entry level student intern on the path to Engineer-in-Training certification with little or no previous experience
* Working knowledge of Revit or other BIM drafting and presentation tools preferred Entry-level
