Survey CAD Technician

**Job Description:**

**Overview:**

This position provides technical and office support for survey projects, assisting in preparing various survey deliverables while taking on greater responsibility for independent tasks.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform survey tasks with minimal guidance from the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.
* Complete intermediate-level drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Review and verify the accuracy of data before submitting for review.
* Prepare detailed field packages, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
* Conduct occasional field checks and provide feedback to field crews.
* Compile, analyze, and manipulate survey data for use in reports and deliverables.
* Assist with deed research and abstracting, creating base maps, and processing data into final drawings.

**Qualifications:**

* Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
* 2+ years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
* Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Demonstrates initiative and independent problem-solving skills for moderately complex tasks.
* Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
