Technical Architecture Specialist/Infrastructure Design Coordinator

Overview

Inabia is seeking an Infrastructure Design Coordinator to develop and modify floorplans supporting building A/V systems, video conferencing, IoT devices, and network infrastructure. This role is central to the Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP), requiring close collaboration with enterprise technology, real estate, and facilities stakeholders. The coordinator serves as a key liaison between Workplace Solutions management and a broad range of internal teams, government agencies, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify floorplans for building A/V systems, video conferencing equipment, IoT devices, network drops, and related infrastructure
Identify problems within SOUP designs and propose effective, practical solutions
Attend and actively contribute to space design and planning meetings
Serve as liaison between Workplace Solutions management and project stakeholders
Use Bluebeam Revu and other design software to produce, review, and update infrastructure drawings
Work with the Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate and/or Capital Programs on SOUP-related projects
Coordinate with vendors, lessors, and contractors involved in infrastructure build-outs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams

Key Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to design and modify floorplans for AV, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure
Strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings
Proven problem-solving skills applied to space planning and infrastructure design challenges
Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design or drafting software
Experience coordinating with real estate teams, government agencies, contractors, and vendors
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to serve as an effective cross-team liaison
Ability to collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting government or public-sector space planning projects
Familiarity with Capital Programs or Bureau of Real Estate workflows and documentation standards
