Technical Delivery Lead accountable for solution architecture, technical delivery readiness, and release execution for enterprise banking platforms developed by offshore India teams.
This role owns end‑to‑end technical accountability—ensuring solutions are well‑designed, architecture‑aligned, delivery‑ready, tested, and safely released in compliance with SDLC, change, and audit expectations.
Acts as the single technical and delivery owner bridging architecture, engineering execution, and business outcomes.
This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, not a project administrator.
Core Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership (Primary)
Own and drive solution architecture accountability across features and releases; partner with internal architects to shape, validate, and govern designsEnsure designs are complete, scalable, secure, and build‑ready before development beginsDocument architectural decisions, manage cross‑team technical dependencies, and surface risks earlyGuide teams on technical standards, non‑functional requirements, and design quality
Technical Delivery Leadership
Own technical delivery readiness: scope clarity, sequencing, dependencies, risks, and Definition of ReadyLead offshore development and QA teams with clear technical direction, expectations, and execution oversightAct as the “can we commit safely?” gate for PI and sprint planning
Release & Production Accountability
Own end‑to‑end release readiness and execution, including cutover planning, go‑live coordination, and hypercareEnsure builds meet architecture, quality, security, and operational standards before production
SDLC, Risk & Audit
Ensure SDLC stage gates, required evidence, approvals, and controls are consistently metPartner with risk, security, and governance teams; lead remediation when gaps are identified
Stakeholder & Vendor Leadership
Serve as the single point of accountability for architecture and delivery executionCommunicate technical trade‑offs, risks, and recommendations clearly to IT leadershipInfluence vendor practices and delivery models to improve quality and predictability
Must‑Have Experience
10+ years in technical delivery / architecture‑adjacent leadership rolesStrong experience partnering with enterprise / solution architectsHands‑on ownership of architecture‑to‑release lifecycle5+ years leading offshore (India) development and QA teamsProven production release & cutover experienceExperience in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
