Technical Solutions Architect - Procurement Systems

This role will focus on designing and overseeing comprehensive end-to-end solutions across Source-to-Pay, supplier management, and analytics. As a key player, you will define the integration between procurement platforms and ERP systems, ensuring a seamless data flow and effective data mapping. Define and own the technical architecture for S2P, P2P, CLM, and SRM platforms.Design integration patterns between procurement tools and ERP systems.Create reference architectures, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps that align with business strategies.Evaluate build versus buy options and lead vendor and technology selection processes.Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and high-performing.Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and IT to gather requirements and define project scopes.Lead solution workshops and respond to RFPs and RFIs effectively.Translate technical concepts for executive and non-technical stakeholders.Provide ongoing technical governance throughout the delivery phase.Review and approve designs, data models, API specifications, and integrations.Work alongside development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve any risks and blockers.Conduct architecture reviews and provide sign-offs at critical milestones.Design data models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for spend and compliance metrics.Drive best practices in data governance and master data management within procurement.Architect AI and ML solutions aimed at spend classification, forecasting, and supplier risk scoring.Document current procurement processes, identifying gaps and defining future-state processes.Design and oversee integration with PeopleSoft Financials for procurement workflows.Experience Requirements: Proven hands-on experience as a solution architect in procurement or Source-to-Pay domains.Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and supplier management.Expertise in ERP platform integration, especially with SAP, Oracle, Workday, or PeopleSoft Financials.Solid background in data movement and API architecture.Proven ability to mentor engineering teams through design and code reviews.Experience in building procurement analytics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.Background in implementing data governance and MDM practices in procurement contexts.Familiarity with AI and ML applications in procurement analytics and supplier risk evaluation.Experience with vendor selection and decision-making regarding product builds versus purchases.Education Requirements: Join us to make a significant impact on procurement innovation!
