Responsibilities The Technology Manager (Architecture) leads architecture, technology strategy, and delivery for the County of San Diego (CoSD). Partner with the chief technology and security officers to develop and execute enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmaps. Enterprise Architecture Governance: Provide architectural oversight across all IT projects throughout the project lifecycle. 10+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, and technology strategy across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security 3+ years managing technical teams with proven ability to mentor and build high-performing teams Relevant industry certification in IT Architecture Hands-on experience with modern frameworks including cloud-native architecture patterns, micro-services design, API-led connectivity, and platform-based architecture methodologies Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Ability to deliver executive-ready briefings, architectural reviews, and decision-support artifacts Financial management experience to include budget planning and performance analytics.
