Temporary Assistant Professor in Architecture

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of students, faculty, staff, and constituencies as we embrace our wider community. The School of Architecture in the University of Kentucky College of Design seek applicants for a full-time, tenure-ineligible Temporary Assistant Professor to teach design studios as well as architecture related electives during the academic year 2026-27. The selected candidate will be jointly appointed to a full-time temporary, tenure-ineligible 9-month faculty position in the School of Architecture, starting August 16, 2026. The preferred candidate will have at least a Master of Architecture, licensure, and a combination of teaching experience, work experience in a progressive architectural/design construction practice, and a track-record of design research.
