Vice President of Architecture

Seeking a full-time Vice President of Architecture, this remote position will define and govern the enterprise technical architecture, establish architectural standards, and lead a team of architects to ensure consistency and quality across the engineering organization. Key responsibilities Own and consolidate enterprise architectural standards and NorthStar principles across acquired entities Lead the enterprise architecture team and the architect guild, promoting alignment with enterprise standards while maintaining team autonomy Establish and chair an architecture review process to evaluate initiatives and ensure transparency in architectural decisions Required qualifications 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical architecture, with 5+ years in a VP or Sr. Director role Proven track record of leading architecture functions and influencing engineering organizations toward consistent standards Deep expertise in modern application architecture, cloud platforms, and data platforms Experience in establishing architecture review processes and governance councils in complex environments Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
