Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Data Strategy & Vision:

Define an inspiring long-term data vision and roadmap that aligns with our business strategy and growth goals.

Position data as a strategic asset to enhance decision-making through analytics, AI-supported insights, and innovation.

Lead our data and analytics team towards an AI-first operational model, implementing a cutting-edge software development lifecycle for data operations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish key performance indicators and metrics that measure value creation.

Identify avenues to leverage data, analytics, and AI to drive growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Enable the business with a centrally governed semantic model that supports our data platform and analytics needs.

Eliminate fragmentation and silos within the organization to maintain a unified data and analytics vision.

Data Architecture and Infrastructure:

Enhance our data architecture framework to support a comprehensive approach from data production to consumption.

Align Data Engineering and Analytics to enforce semantic standards and shared business definitions.

Ensure consistent use of a common enterprise semantic layer across analytics and reporting.

Oversee the complete data lifecycle, ensuring robust architecture frameworks for master data management.

Establish governance checkpoints to prevent metric inconsistencies and reconciliation challenges.

Drive the adoption of standardized definitions via data catalogs and reporting tools.

Hold authority on vendor and technology decisions for data platforms and analytics tools.

Data Governance & Program Sponsorship:

Lead the creation and adoption of a data governance framework with clear roles and standards.

Act as a sponsor and advocate for the data governance program throughout the organization.

Establish business stewardship across domains with clear accountability.

Facilitate data governance councils to address cross-domain challenges.

Promote collaboration to ensure the data governance model aligns with business priorities.

Analytics, BI and AI Enablement:

Construct an effective operating model for Reporting, Analytics, and Data Science.

Advance our capabilities in business intelligence and analytics, supporting a self-service model.

Operationalize AI/ML use cases to enhance predictive analytics and our enterprise semantic layer.

Ensure accuracy in reporting and dashboards and promote data literacy across the business.

Driving Business Value:

Ensure our data roadmap delivers outcomes like faster access to reliable data and improved decision-making.

Align data governance with high-value business use cases across various functions.

Define and monitor data quality standards and KPIs for accuracy and consistency.

Implement processes for data profiling and lineage to improve transparency and issue management.

Establish a “single source of truth” for critical enterprise data domains.

Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or governance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Exceptional strategic planning and communication abilities, with a track record of influencing at the executive level.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning data initiatives with business goals.

In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices, with proven experience in stakeholder partnerships.

Capability to drive cultural change and promote a data-driven decision-making environment.
