The Department of Art at Wake Forest University invites applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of History of Modern and Contemporary Architecture, to begin July 1, 2026. In addition, each semester, the successful candidate will teach Art 101: Engaging with Art (15 students), a course that encourages students to engage with the visual arts on campus and in the local community. The position requires experience teaching an architectural history course as the primary instructor at the university level and a Ph.D. in Art/Architectural History.
