Wood Frame Project Architect

Handel Architects is seeking a Project Architect with experience in wood frame construction. About the Job Our New York office is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Architect with 10+ years of professional experience in large-scale wood frame (“five over one”) construction demonstrated through the completion of four or more projects of that typology. Day-to-day coordination with project team, including consultants Work closely with Project Managers to lead design teams from feasibility and concept design through documentation and construction administration Collaborate with design team in producing design documents and presentations for client and consultant meetings Direct and mentor junior staff Oversee the completion of architectural contract documents Administration of ongoing and future construction efforts Meet and manage client needs, in coordination with the various design team members and the construction team Portfolios are required for this job application.
