Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Zerto Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of disaster recovery and data replication solutions using Zerto Virtual Replication. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in system architecture, solution design, and cloud technologies to ensure seamless data protection, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities across complex IT environments. Your innovative approach will drive the development of resilient infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Duties

Lead the architecture and deployment of Zerto-based disaster recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Zerto with existing systems such as VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms.
Design scalable system architectures utilizing microservices, RESTful APIs, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to optimize data replication workflows.
Develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans, ensuring compliance with security standards such as information security protocols and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
Automate deployment processes using scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to streamline operations.
Monitor system performance using load balancing techniques, network configurations including VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and system administration best practices to maintain high availability.
Implement security measures to safeguard data integrity through firewalls, VPNs, encryption protocols, and access controls aligned with IT security standards.
Provide technical guidance on integrating Zerto with other enterprise systems including databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), application servers (Pegasystems), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
Conduct system architecture reviews and recommend improvements to enhance resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in solution architecture within enterprise IT environments with a focus on disaster recovery and data replication technologies.
Strong background in system design principles involving service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and system integration.
Extensive knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware and VMware management tools; experience with vSphere is a plus.
Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; familiarity with cloud-native services is highly desirable.
Hands-on expertise in scripting languages (Bash shell scripting, Python) for automation tasks; experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
Deep understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewall configurations, VPNs, and network security best practices.
Familiarity with databases like SQL Server (Microsoft SQL), MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience in database administration is advantageous.
Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server and Linux distributions; experience with system administration tasks is essential.
Strong grasp of IT security principles including RBAC policies and information security standards; experience implementing secure architectures is preferred.
